The importance of the intangible

wagon wheel

Thirty spokes converge upon a single hub;
It is on the hole in the center
that the use of the cart hinges.

We make a vessel from a lump of clay;
It is the empty space within the vessel
that makes it useful.

We make doors and windows for a room;
But it is these empty spaces
that make the room livable.

Thus, while the tangible has its advantages,
It is the intangible that makes it useful.

I'm interested in using your photo of the colorful wagon wheel spokes on a Facebook page for a new nonprofit called Access Frontiers. I am looking into how to give grants for contractor services to small businesses so they can provide better customer service to persons with disabilities (ramps, hearing loops, Braille signage). Is this your photo? How much would you charge for me to have permission to use it? It would only be temporary until we get a logo designed. I can be reached at info@accessfrontiers.org. Thank you.
